Sri Ram College of Commerce is organizing its departmental fest Odyssey from today. Odyssey is the annual fest of the History and Political Science Society, Sri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC). Abiding by its name, it is not just a fest but an eventful and adventurous journey of two days consisting of a complete amalgamation of intellectual and frolic events.
The two days fest on February 25-26, 2014, will kick off with the event Legacy quiz with participants having the Sheldon-esque spirit from all over the capital competing to prove their mettle. It will be followed by the Wrangler’s war- The Political Debate which will witness a head to head battle amongst participants. Here words would be your weapons and powerful ideas your dynamite. Debate will be followed by STRIKE IT OFF, a fun tambola event where you get to try your luck. The first day will end with Bucket Splash, an enjoyable event for three people where they will be balancing a bucket on their legs and cycling until the bucket falls down and the water splashes out.
Day two brings out some more exciting events like frankly discussing .It will be a platform where ideas will be generated, shared , tried out and be responded to by others in a group discussion. A unique combination to debate and extempore will be seen in Face off. For someone who has the confidence to put his thoughts on ice in the heat of dispute, this will be a perfect event.
Then there will be Sumo Wrestling, a chance to be the Best Japanese Gunda of the crowd. Last but not the least, the most exciting event of Odyssey, Treasure in the puzzle will invite teams to complete a picture puzzle, the pieces of which will be hidden all over the college, the location of which will be given to each team in the form of written clue or riddle. It's all about how quickly you can think on your feet and find the riches.
Enthusiasm, competition, intellect and entertainment- these two days are to watch out for.
