NIFTEM to conduct international conference in 2014

Department of Basic and Applied Science, National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) is all set to conduct an international level conference during January 9-10, 2014 and a workshop on Food Safety and Quality on January 11, 2014.

Conference will be on Emerging Food Safety Risks: Challenges for Developing Countries.
NIFTEM will organize this conference in collaboration with AISTE, DST, DBT, UGC, ICMR, BRNS and MOH & FW.

Major areas covered by the workshop:

• Global aspects of food safety

• Modern state of the art analytical technologies to ensure food safety & quality

• Emerging food pathogens

• Microbiological methods for various pathogenic microorganisms in food

• Quality system for ensuring safe food
