National Workshop on ‘VLSI Design Using Cadence Tools’ at Chitkara University

Chitkara University is organising a workshop on ‘VLSI Design Using Cadence Tools’. It is a four days’ workshop being held at its Himachal Pradesh campus from June 5 to June 8, 2012.

The aim of this workshop is to give an overview and experience to the participants on the state-of-the art EDA tools for VLSI Design. This workshop will comprise of lectures delivered by design engineers from Cadence Design Systems followed by hands-on training on CMOS Analog and Digital design. The participants would have an exposure to the Circuit design & Simulation, Layout design, DRC, Physical Verification, Extraction with hands-on session on the design and simulation tools and a real experience of using the standard cell design flow which is required for ASIC design. It will be a great experience for the people who are interested to learn the techniques of Analog IC Design as well.

• Rs. 3000/- for Academia
• Rs. 4500/- for Representatives from Industry

Complete registration form along with the demand draft for registration fee should be sent to Convener before 15th May, 2012. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of Chitkara University, payable at Chandigarh.
