National Education Day celebration at Delhi Institute of Advanced Studies

In order to pay benefitting tribute to India’s great son Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad, Delhi Institute of Advanced Studies, New Delhi is celebrating November 11 as National Education Day on birth anniversary of this legend.

Indian Government also has decided to celebrate the day as National Education Day every year. Following the trend Institute is organizing inter college competition comprises of competitions like Debate Competition and Poster Making Competition.

Rules for Debate Competition:

• Teams comprises of two participants will be allowed

• Registration will be done on first come first serve basis

• Each will be given 5 minutes to speak on the topic

• There will be negative mark for exceeding the time limit

• An indication will be made through bell at the beginning of 4th minute, one minute to conclude

• Judges decisions will be the final decision

Rules for Poster Making Competition:

• It is an Individual competition

• Each participant will be provided with an A3 sized cartridge sheet

• Participants are required to carry their own stationary

• Theme will be given on the spot

• They will be given 2 hours to complete their poster

• Judgement will be done on the basis of creativity, design, clarity, content and element present

• Judges decisions will be the final decision

All the participants will be awarded with Certificate of Participation. 1st runner up prize will be given to best team and for best poster. Certificate of Merit will be awarded to the winner of both the competitions.
