MRIU Hosts 9th Corporate Cricket Challenge 2016

Manav Rachna International University is conducting the ‘9th Corporate Cricket Cup-2022’ from January 22 to 24, 2022. 

 

The first match of the day was played between Suzuki Motorcycle and Honda Car. Honda Car won the toss and choose to field first. Suzuki Motorcycle scored 160/10 runs in 20 overs. For Suzuki Motorcycle Mr. Gaurav Nagar played a marvellous innings and scored 42 runs in just 24 balls, which included 6 fours and 1 six. Manjeet made 32 runs in 13 balls with 4 sixes, Nitin made 31 runs in 30 balls with 5 fours and Parveen made 15 runs in 17 balls with 1 six respectively.

 

In reply, the Honda made 164/8 runs in 19.3 overs and won the match by 2 wickets. For Honda Car team, Mr. Mohit made 41 runs in 23 Balls included 6 fours and 2 sixes, Gaurav made 39 runs in 36 balls with 5 fours, Rohit made 21 runs in 23 balls with 1 six and Ajay Mishra made 20 runs (not out) in 8 balls with 4 fours respectively.

 

Mr. Ajay Mishra of Honda Car team was declared as ‘Man of the Match’.

 

The 2nd match of the day was played between Prasar Bharti and MREI. MREI won the toss and decided to bat first. MREI scored 239/7 runs in 20 overs. For MREI team Mr. Hemant made 74 runs in 40 balls (9 fours and 3 sixes), Rahul Kaushik made 68 runs not out in 20 balls (3 fours, 8 sixes), Ajay Sharma made 55 runs in 26 balls (3 fours , 4 sixes) & Naresh Mehta made 23 runs in 13 balls respectively.

 

In reply Prasar Bharti made only 154 /10 runs in 19 overs and lost the match by 85 runs. Mr. Hemant of MREI team was declared as ‘Man of the Match’ for his excellent performance. He scored 74 runs in just 40 balls.
