Modern Methods in Pharmaceutical Research: workshop by Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST), Hisar

Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar organised a workshop ‘Modern Methods in Pharmaceutical Research’ from April 28, 2012. It was a 7-day workshop organised by Department of Pharmaceutical Research, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST).

Aim of this workshop was to provide the basic knowledge and practical hands-on training on some of these areas such as X-ray diffraction, HPLC, particle size characterisation, computer-aided drug design, polymerase chain reaction and gel electrophoresis, spectral analysis etc. The workshop comprised of two lectures divided into morning and afternoon sessions each. The morning sessions covered by experts talked about the basic aspects, whereas the afternoon sessions were based on practical.

The department of Pharmaceutical Science was established in 1995. It offers UG, PG and Doctoral programmes. B.Pharma programme is approved by PCI and AICTE.
