MICAT or MICA Admissions Test is conducted by one of the premier business schools in India- the Mudra Institute of Communication- Ahmedabad (MICA). It is an entrance exam that aims at selecting candidates for its unique program namely- Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Communications (PGDM-C).
MICAT will now be conducted twice in a year in the months of February and December.
The registration for MICAT-II (February) began from 4th January 2022 and the last date for registration is 31st January 2022.

MICAT is a computer based test which tests the candidate’s writing skills, verbal communication abilities and reasoning ability. The institute also conducts a psychometric analysis test through the same.
Eligibility: Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline that is recognised by the Association of Indian Industries (AIU) are eligible to register for MICAT-II.
MICAT Admission Process:
- Each aspiring candidate will have to appear for at least one of the 3 exams namely CAT 2015, XAT 2022 and GMAT (2012 onwards).
- All applicants will then be required to appear for the MICA Admission Test (MICAT). This test is conducted to assess leadership potential of the applicant reflecting an aptitude for creative thinking, communication and consumer centricity
- Based on the performance in the MICA Admission Test (MICAT), applicants will be shortlisted for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) to assess the overall candidature of the applicant.
