The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), like every year, will conduct Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) on 2nd & 3rd May, 2022. The KCET is conducted once in a year for students seeking admission to undergraduate Engineering, Medical, Technology, Science, Farm Science courses offered at Karnataka University.
The KCET 2022 application forms have been released from 27th January, 2022 onwards, but to apply for KCET and avoid cancellation of application, candidates are recommended to have a close check with the KCET eligibility criteria.
KCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The KCET 2022 eligibility criteria based on different courses is as follow:
- Engineering & Technology – 12th passed with a minimum of 45% marks in PCM (40% for reserved categories).
- Medical/Dental/Other – 12th passed with a minimum of 50% marks in PCB with English (40% for reserved categories).
- Architecture – 12th passed with min. 50% marks with Mathematics (45% for reserved categories).
- B.Sc (Forestry & Agri.) & B.HSc – 12th passed with PCB.
- B.Tech (Agri.) – 12th passed with PCM.
- B.Pharma – Must have 45% marks in PCM or PCB or D.Pharma (40% for reserved categories).
- B.Tech (Fisheries, Dairy, Food Tech.) – 12th passed with PCMB
