‘Junkyard War’: an Engineering Event at Hindustan College of Science and Technology

Junkyard war is an intercollegiate engineering design and fabrication competition for undergraduate and graduate engineering students.

This year Hindustan College of Science and Technology (HCST) will organize this event on February 20-22, 2014. The aim of the competition is to target real-world engineering design projects and their related challenges.

There will be teams of recommended persons which main goal is to design and build a prototype of a rugged, single seat, off-road recreational vehicle intended for sale to the non-professional weekend off-road enthusiast. Vehicle should be ease to handle, easily transported and fun to drive.

Interested candidates can give their names or team names. To participate in the event they first required to register their team names on payment of Rs. 8000/- per team.

The registration form is available on the website www.sgei.org and www.hcst.edu.in . The DD should be drawn in favour of Hindustan College of Science & Technology, payable at Agra.
