Jamia Hamdard Admissions 2022-17 have started for various undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral programmes offered at Hamdard across disciplines namely, humanities, interdisciplinary sciences, social sciences, nursing, medical sciences, technology and engineering and pharmacy. The last date to submit the applications is June 9, 2022.
The admissions for all the undergraduate programmes of study in biological sciences will be made on the basis of rank or scores obtained by the applicant in AIPMT 2022, subject to fulfilling the other eligibility criteria.
However, for admissions to B. Tech programmes, JEE Main 2022 scores will be taken into consideration.
And for other programmes, the Jamia Hamdard University will be conducting an Entrance Test and/or Personal Interview with more than 15% weightage given to marks in interview.
The online applications of the students will be accepted via Online Admission Portal of Jamia at its website.
Jamia Hamdard University is a deemed university commenced by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed, one of the well-known practitioners of Unani System of Medicine of his time. The university imparts tailor made programmes in Unani Medicine, Islamic Studies, Biosciences, Pharmacy, Nursing and other important areas. Jamia Hamdard offers a graduate programme in Information Technology and Computer Applications and Post-graduate programmes in Information Technology, Computer Applications, Business Management, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy have also been introduced in the last few years.
