Inspire Internship Science Camp- 2013 at A.N College, Patna

A.N College was organized a Science Camp on September 24-28, 2013. Camp was entitled as Inspire Internship Science Camp-2013.This camp was sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt of India.

This five days long camp was organized to motivate young generation to join science subject and work for the country. These Science Camps essentially nourish the curiosity of children in science; help them to think out of the box and attract the students at an early age of 16-17 years (i.e. in XI standard) to enrol in science subjects.

Selections will be made among the top one percent rankers in their X Board Examination and pursuing science in standard XI.

Eligibility Criteria to apply for this camp: 

• Top one percent ranking in the X Board Examination for all Boards in the country,

• Pursuing science in standard XI,

• Not attended a similar Science Camp elsewhere earlier, and

• Participating students shall be within the same State or UT.

During this camp at A.N College, many activities were taken place such as discussion about real science, biography of great Indian scientists and how you can manage time table like scientists and many more.

Centre of attraction was scientists from various places had visited the camp and shared their experiences. Students were very happy to join this type of program and they learnt many things for their future.

Entire camp was headed by A.N college professors.
