Independence Day Celebrations at YMCAUST, Faridabad

Independence Day was celebrated in the YMCA University premises on 15th August 2012. The Vice-Chancellor Lt. Gen. (Retd) K.S. Yadava PVSM, AVSM, VSM, SM was the Chief- Guest on the occasion. National Flag was hoisted followed by the National Anthem.

Chief Guest was welcomed by Mrs. Shimla (Registrar of the University) along with Dean, Chairpersons and other faculty members. A large number of students were present on the occasion.
The Vice-Chancellor Lt. Gen. (Retd) K.S. Yadava encouraged the youth to contribute whole-heartedly in the activities of national interest and the University. He informed the stakeholders about various developments related to academics and infrastructure being carried out in the University and future targets for achieving excellence in various ongoing academic programmes in the university.

Sweets were distributed to all on the occasion of Independence Day celebrations.

The YMCA University of Science and Technology was established in 1969 with an aim to impart technical education to a developing India. The University offers Bachelor of Technology with specialisations in Computer Sceince, Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation Control, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The college also offers Postgraduate courses: M.Tech., MCA, MBA, M.Sc. and Ph.D. in various disciplines.
