IIT Kharagpur PhD Admission 2016 Begins

The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-K) has started inviting applications from students seeking admission in Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) courses for academic session 2022-17.

IIT Kharagpur offers PhD courses in Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture and Regional Planning, Humanities and Social Sciences and Law & Management and students can select their choice of PhD courses in IIT Kharagpur at the time of application.

IIT Kharagpur PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria

Applicants need to have B.Tech/M.Sc/MBA/MA/B.Arch/ PG Diploma in Management/ MBBS degree to be able to apply for IIT PhD courses.

In addition to this, candidates should have completed one-year internship or should possess a degree equivalent to this.

Apart from presenting these qualifications, candidates have to appear for IIT Kharagpur entrance examination and score minimum 60% marks to be termed eligible for further admission process.

• Create a login
• Fill the IIT Kharagpur PhD Application Form 2022
• Attach the scanned copies of the required documents
• Pay the IIT Kharagpur application fees online
• Submit the form and keep a copy for future references

Also, candidates should note that Rs. 1000/- will be charged from every applicant as IIT Kharagpur application fees, women/SC/ST/PwD candidates have to pay just Rs. 500/- for application.

IIT Kharagpur Selection Procedure

Applicants of IIT Kharagpur PhD entrance test will be called to proceed with further admission process, only after qualifying the test.

Later on, shortlisted candidates will be called for interview by the respective candidates.
