IIST, Thiruvananthapuram Organises ‘Dhanak 2012’

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram is organising its cultural fest ‘Dhanak -2012’ with the theme ‘Pirates -Come aboard, loot fun’. This fest will be held from September 21 till September 24, 2012 at college’s premises.

Dhanak, which translates to rainbow in Urdu, is indeed a collage of colourful events and performances. Dance, drama, music, art, photography, film-making, extempore, and much more are on the list.

Other than this, Pro-show by the globally renowned band “Demonic Resurrection” and a dance workshop by Saurabh and Vivek, finalists of “Dance India Dance” reality show will be the highlights of this fest.

Pro- Show by Demonic Resurrection:

Charges: Rs 250 per head (Payable via demand draft or NEFT transaction)
Note: For those who are availing accommodation at IIST, Pronite passes are avaialable at Rs. 150

Workshop:

• Hip Hop: 2 hours every day for 3 days
• Salsa: 2 hours every day for 3 days

Charges for workshop:
• Rs 500 per individual for one category
• Rs 800 per individual for both the categories

Accommodation:

Accommodation Charges: Rs 600/- (Payable via demand draft or NEFT transaction)
