IIM Nagpur Admissions 2017: Eligibility Criteria & Selection Procedure

IIM Nagpur Admissions 2022 - IIM Nagpur has declared the admission criteria for postgraduate programmes 2022-19. The aspirants will be shortlisted on the basis of CAT 2022 scores. The final selection will be based on the candidate's Past Academic Performance (PAP), Work Experience (WE) and CAT performance.

The journey to IIMs is not an easy one. From scoring well in the Common Admission Test (CAT) to fulfilling the basic eligibility criteria as well as going through the selection procedures, there are many stages involved before you actually begin your management education.

Candidates seeking admission in management courses at IIM Nagpur for academic session 2022 must take into account the following eligibility criteria and selection procedure for admission.

Note: This will be the 3rd PGP batch at IIM Nagpur and it will have 60 seats including all the categories.

IIM Nagpur Eligibility Criteria 2022

• Applicants should surpass the minimum qualifying score in CAT or GMAT.
• The overall cut-off for the General category candidates is 96.3 percentile tentatively.
• Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be sent a confirmation email for admission in PGP at IIM Nagpur.
• Once the candidates are shortlisted on the basis of CAT 2022 score, their Past Academic Performance (PAP) and Work Experience (WE) will be considered for the final selection.

IIM Nagpur Selection Procedure 2022

• The selection process for admission in PGP at IIM Nagpur will include three stages i.e. Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
• The Institute will award 20% weight age to work experience and 30% to past academic performance, whereas CAT score will still be given the highest weight age for selection i.e. 50%.

About CAT 2022

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a computer-based paper conducted for students seeking admission in Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in management at IIMs.

IIM Bangalore conducted CAT 2022 exam on December 4, 2022. The CAT 2022 registration had started on August 8 and the last date of CAT 2022 application was September 22. The CAT Result was declared on January 9, 2022.

CAT 2022 exam will have 3 sections:

• Quantitative Ability (QA)
• Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VRC), and
• Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DI & LR)
