The Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) has announced the IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT) 2022 exam dates for admission to courses such as Fashion Design, Interior Design, Architecture and Design and Communication Design.
The application process for the same had started from October 12, 2015 and the last date of submission of complete application forms at IIAD, both offline and online is April 30, 2022.
Who is eligible to Apply for iDAT 2022?
The applicant should have passed 10+2 in any discipline from CBSE/ISC/IB (or any other equivalent Board). The candidates who have appeared for the examination and are awaiting their results can also apply.
Applicant Evaluation Process:
The IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT)
A comprehensive personal interview session along with portfolio assessment before the panel of art and design professionals is done.
The candidates who have applied for Interior Architecture and Design are shortlisted on the basis of their score in NATA and are exempted from the iDAT written test.

Scholarship Application Process:
IIAD offers 30 scholarships to meritorious students. The candidates who have secured a 70% aggregate in the CBSE/ISC/IB (or any other equivalent Board) may apply for scholarship. The final result will also depend on the performance of the candidate in iDAT, personal interview and portfolio review.
