ICSE/ISC Results 2013 to be Announced on May 17, 2013

The results of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) examinations for the year 2013 will be announced on May 17 at 3.00 p.m., according to a notification released by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).

This year, around 1.5 lakh students took the ICSE exam and another 60,000 appeared for the ISC exam.

India has around 1930 ICSE and 800 ISC schools. The ICSE (Class 10) examination had started on February 27 while the ISC (Class 12) exams began on February 4.

Karnataka takes the third position after West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh when it comes to largest number of ICSE schools.
