Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University (JVWU) organized an extempore on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, 2013.
Gandhi Jayanti is a national holiday celebrated in India to mark the occasion of the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. Whole nation celebrates the occasion with their best zeal as a tribute to the legend of India, Mahatma Gandhi Ji.
Students of JVWU presented their views on ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisaan’, ‘Dandi March’ and such others topics.
It was paneled by Vice Chancellor Dr. Prabha Thoudam. Vice JSR Rashi Jyotsi bagged the first position. Aparna Raj was the first runner up and Avantika was the second runner up.
The session was followed by a discussion on importance of ‘First-Aid’ by Dr. Sumit Asthana and Dr. Amit. The evening proved to be mesmerizing as there was a meditation camp held by Bhramkumari Anamika, Where she mentioned a lot of stress-relieving techniques.

Jayoti Vidyapeeth Womens University (JVWU) was established in 2008 under an act passed by Rajasthan Legislature.
