Friendly T-10 Cricket Match at Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology

Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology organized a friendly T-10 cricket match between the teams from MBA department,’ Team-A’ and ‘Team-B’ on October 5, 2013. The match was organized under the SAC (Student Activity Council).

‘Team-A’ won the toss and elected to field first. The first over of ‘Team-A’ was so costly because openers of ‘Team-B’ scored 30 runs in it. ‘Team-B’ was bowled out for 90 in 8.3 overs.

Starting of ‘Team-A’ was so bad, they lost 3 important wickets in first over, but match goes interested when middle order played bravely but due to continuing falling of wickets, efforts of batsman not enough to save the match. ‘Team-B’ won the match by 6 runs.

All team members were awarded by Trophy and certificates by the college principal Dr. Arvind Singh. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Arvind Singh, principal of RKGIT MBA, pledged his support for promotion of sports and cultural events among the students of RKGIT MBA and appreciated SAC for the initiative and various events planned under it.

He urged the students to come forward and move progressively towards energetic event, education and assured them of full support and cooperation from the RKGIT MBA department and faculty.

A tree plantation activity was also held after the match there was enthusiastic participation from the faculty and students of MBA RKGIT Ghaziabad.
