University Film Club (UFC) of Aligarh Muslim University organised National Film Festival of Short Films and Documentaries for Non- feature films ‘Film Saaz’12’ between March 19 and March 21, 2012.
The aim of this festival was to carve out hidden talent and inspire young filmmakers all over the nation. Film Saaz is not just another film festival, but is a mission to bring up those to light who think beyond the conventional.

University Film Club was established by some enthusiastic faculty members back in 1974 with the aim to promote the cinematic culture among the students of AMU.
About Aligarh Muslim University
AMU was founded in 1875 and it was among the first institutions of higher learning set up during the British Rule. Aligarh Muslim University is a residential academic institution offering more than 280 Courses in traditional and modern branches of Education.
