Department of Information Technology (IT) of University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) will be organising a ‘One week Faculty Development Programme’ on “Data Analytics and Big Data” from May 23, 2022, to May 28, 2022, at UIET, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The programme intends to provide a forum for exchange ideas among practitioners, academicians and researchers working on different aspects of Big data and analytics. There will be plenary lectures and invited presentations by well-known industry experts and academicians in areas related to Hadoop, MapReduce-based processing (Pig, Hive), Big Data Stream Mining, Big Data in E-commerce, Practical Tools and Technologies for Data Analytics, Cloud Computing for Data Analytics and Big Data, etc.
Registration Details:
The registration fee will be accepted in the form of cash and demand draft latest by May 3, 2022. The fee details are as under:
Faculty/Research Scholar: Rs. 1500 per participant
Demand draft should be made in favour of Director, UIET, Panjab University. Payable at Chandigarh.
Resource Persons:
The lectures will be delivered by experts from institutes and industries like NITTTR, IIT Ropar, Infosys, DEF Team Solutions Pvt. Ltd., PEC University of Technology and other domain experts.
