Emblazon 2015: Cultural fest of HMR Institute of Technology and Management

 

The annual cultural fest of HMR Institute of Technology and Management, Emblazon 2015 ended on good note. Scheduled for March 31 and April 1, 2015 this year the event came up with array of exciting and nerve wracking events. 

 

The two days extravaganza saw clash of clans showcasing talents, an unexpected flashmob, desi swaggers, some gorgeous selfies, a photography event, lip-smacking food, refreshing lipton drinks, jam session where bootiyas shook really well. Last but not the least. An irresistible EDM Star evening. The filler events gathered eyes and were a massive hit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

War of words and clash of thoughts gave birth to Conventional debate. Participants from top institutes like DTU and SRM grabbed eye balls and came out with flying colours. Creative corner had Face painting and T shirt painting in their kitty for the day. A quiz for Bollywood maniacs and breath taking tasks in 60 seconds gave audience a feast. But there was no stopping while hunting the Treasure. Nearly 30 teams participated and the event was on a large scale compared to previous years. Nukkad Natak was the main highlight of the day. All thanks to Maharaja Agrasen College, DU.

 

 

 

Some of the finest bands of the city battled for the title and gave us high. The Cosmic group sweeped the accolades and were titled the best band. Xodus- The battle of bands was the costliest event of the festival. Energy conservation dance by some Mechanical students gave everyone a chance to giggle hard. 

 

 

 

Lastly, the in-house Fashion show, Panache, with Bollywood theme was feast for the eyes of both boys and girls. The day ended with a rocking Jam session played by DJ Gavy.

 

The day saw light with some bright solo dance performances. The thirak and the lachak were clearly visible and so were the excitement in the eyes of the audience. Chasse gave a boom.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The game of brain was not that easy. People got inked with Tattoo making being one of the events. Waste paper were judiciously used in building up a collage. In house event, Mr. And Ms. Emblazon gave students a platform to come out and face the masses and show all of them what they got. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The theatre has always been a soft corner for HMRITM. Teams from NSIT and MAIT raised the quotient and Rang manch -One act play was a success. Euphony - Solo singing event and Exuberance- Group dance event were the main highlights of the day. But as the clock struck 4 in the evening the crowd got impatient and wait was biting. Progressive brothers performed live at HMRITM. The hangover is still there. The crowd went with the flow and yes, euphoria was experienced.
