Eligible candidates to be issued Voter ID Cards by District Administration: RKGIT

To discuss the various issues facing by the students at the time of issuing Voter Id Cards, a meeting was held on October 10, 2013 at the Office of District Magistrate, Ghaziabad.

It’s been noticed that students studying in various colleges at Ghaziabad face certain difficulties at the time of applying for Voter Id. It had been decided in the meeting that the students who fulfil the following eligibility criteria will be issued the Voters ID Cards by the District Administration.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Should have completed 18 years of age on 1.1.2014

• Required two passport sized photographs

• Age Proof/10th mark sheet

• Affidavit regarding residential proof

All principals/HOD’s/dean are requested to take this in high preference and give wide publicity among the students and get the enclosed form duly filled by the eligible candidates.

Students were required to submit the duly filled form latest by October 24, 2013.

On October 25, 2013 officials from District Administration Office had visited the college to collect the forms and they will take further action to issue the Voter ID Cards to the concerned students.
