DIAS, Delhi offers Student Welfare Fund Scholarship

Delhi Institute of Advanced Studies (DIAS) has invited applications from eligible candidate to apply for Student Welfare Fund Scholarship offered by the Institute.

Interested and eligible candidates are requested to apply on or before November 20, 2013. No application will be entertained after the due date.

Selection of candidate will be done on the basis of interview taken by the selection committee and final result will be displayed on notice board.

Dates to remember:

DIAS has set up this scholarship to give assistance to economically weak but meritorious students. Scholarship will be provisioned to the student on per semester basis. A total of four students from all the courses per semester will be offered the scholarship.

There are some basic criteria to apply for the scholarship i.e.:

• Students should successfully complete their first semester

• Application shall be invited from students seeking the scholarship on a prescribed format

• The committee will find the students with the highest scores for scholarship

• Selected candidates will have an interview with the head of the institute in the final stage

Selection will be done on the basis of parents’ annual income, academic merit and attendance.

In case of ties in scores secured by the students, CET rank of the student will be one of the criteria for selection.
