Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar, Uttrakhand is a university committed to inculcate morality and values, which make its students good human beings and responsible citizens. It is duly recognized by the University Grant Commission (U.G.C). It is a self- financed and managed through people’s contribution and not by any grant from the State or the Central Government or UGC. Dev Sanskriti vishwavidyalaya offers multiple Programs on Graduate, Post Graduate level.  Various Diploma and Certificate programmes are also offered.

Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya invites applications for its various undergraduate and post graduate courses for the academic session 2012-2013.

• Last date of receiving the duly filled forms with late fee (Rs. 50/- per day) : June 20, 2012
• B. Ed. Written Entrance Examination : June 22, 2012
• Written Entrance Examination (All except B. Ed.) : June 24, 2012
• Declaration of result of Written Examination : June 28, 2012
• Date of Interview : July 1 – 2, 2012
• Gurupurnima Ceremony : July 3, 2012
• Declaration of list of selected candidates : July 4, 2012
• Medical Checkup and Admission Process : July 5 - 7, 2012
• Gyan Diksha Ceremony : July 8, 2012
• Induction and Orientation : July 9 - 11, 2012
• Beginning of Academic Session : July 12, 2012

Important Information:

• Prospectus can be obtained by paying Rs. 200/- at the university. To obtain prospectus by post, the student can send Bank draft of Rs 250/- in favour of Registrar, Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyala, payable at Haridwar).
• Filled in application form along with a bank draft of Rs. 500/- (in favor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyala, payable at Haridwar), must reach the Registrar Office on or before the last date of submission. Applications received after the due date or with incomplete information shall not be accepted.
• An application for the change of examination center would attract a fee of Rs. 200/- The final decision on this issue would be taken by the Registrar, DSVV.
• Applicants should enclose two self addressed envelops (9”X4”) with fully filled up application form.

Note:

• DSVV, Haridwar is the only examination centre for B.Ed. entrance examination.
• There is a provision for negative marking in written entrance examination.
• The university holds the right to cancel any application form at any stage without any prior notice to the candidate.
