Deadline to apply for REU at University of Michigan is January 17, 2014

Michigan University invites applications for Indian Undergraduates to pursue research experience abroad. Interested candidate can apply for the programme latest by January 17, 2014.

This program is designed to provide outstanding undergraduates with the opportunity to pursue research under the tutelage of experienced faculty members.

Applications are welcome from students from all schools. REU participants are paid a stipend of approximately $4,300 during the summer. Please note, REUs are intended primarily for US citizens and Permanent Residents. Because of funding limitations, International students will be considered on an ad hoc basis.

After clicking on the link kindly provide the information in the form (in the link) and click submit. You will then receive a confirmation email with instructions on submitting your application for the Math REU program (it could take a few hours to receive this confirmation - please do not apply twice).

If you are not a current University of Michigan student, you will need to provide the name and contact information of a faculty member at your institution who has agreed to write a letter of recommendation in support of your application.
