CLAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria- CLAT 2022 exam will be conducted by Chanakya National Law University, Patna (CNLU). In 2022, it was conducted by Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 14, 2022. The application forms are now available on the official website of CLAT.

The examination is conducted for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate Law courses offered by the 17 Law universities in India. The eligibility criteria for UG and PG courses are as follows:

For UG programmes:

  • Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with minimum 45% marks, which is 40% in the case of SC/ST category.
  • Candidates who are still appearing for 10+2 or equivalent examination can also apply.
  • At the time of admissions, the candidate has to provide the passing/qualifying examination certificate.

For PG Programmes:

  • Candidate should have passed LL.B or an equivalent degree from a recognised university with minimum 55% marks, which is 50% for candidates of SC/ST category.
  • Candidates who are in their final semester/year can also apply for CLAT 2022.
  • The candidate has to provide the passing/qualifying examination certificate at the time of admissions.

Age Limit Criteria: CLAT core committee has proposed the inclusion of age limit criteria in CLAT exam. For the 3 year LLB course, the upper age limit is set at 30 years. For the 5 year LLB course the upper age limit has been set at 20 years (22 years for the reserved category candidates). 

The admit cards will be available for download from April 20, 2022. CLAT 2022 exam will be conducted on May 14, 2022.
