The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2015 will be conducted on May 10, 2015 in 28 exam cities across India. CLAT was first conducted in 2008
Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow will conduct CLAT 2015 online for candidates seeking admission in LLB and LLM courses offered by National Law Universities (NLUs) across the country. CLAT 2015 will be conducted online tol ensure that the exam process is efficient and transparent, said RMLNLU Vice-Chancellor and the CLAT convener Prof Gurdip Singh. There are about 350 LLM seats and approximately 1,700 LLB seats up for grabs basis the CLAT 2015 scores. In total, 16 universities will be participating in CLAT 2015.
All the steps of the examination process, including filling up the application form and final fee submission, will be conducted online.
Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the exam can fill CLAT 2015 application forms online from January 1 to March 31, 2015.
Eligibility Criteria for CLAT 2015:
Entrance Test for admission to UG & PG law programmes:
UG Programmes:
- Higher Secondary School/ Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognized Board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC and ST candidates)
- Candidate should be below 20 years of age as on 1st July, 2015 (22 years in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability candidates
PG Programmes:
- Student should have obtained an LL.B./a five year integrated LL.B./any other equivalent degree in Law from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC/ST candidates)
- The participating Universities have not prescribed any upper age limit for PG Programmes
