Christ University to organise a National workshop on “Thesis Writing Skills for Applied Science Researchers"

A 3 day National workshop on “Thesis writing skills for applied science Researchers” is being organised by Christ University from 28 June, 2012 to 30 June, 2012 for Teachers and Researchers who intend to do Ph.D in science disciplines and to write scientific papers.

Some of the core subjects proposed to be covered in the 3 days workshops are mentioned below. The sessions will be taken by Faculty of Higher Education Institute and Professionals interested in the theme:
 

• Core Components Of Science Research
• Objectives of Research projects
• Methodology selection
• Research project Cycle
• Project profile formats
• Writing strategies and techniques
• Materials, Methods and statistical tools
• Graph flow charts and pictograms
• Language Style
• Scientific paper writing

Outstation participants will have to pay a fee of Rs 2500 for registration which includes materials, food & accomodation whereas the registration fee for local participants has been kept Rs 1500 which includes materials, lunch and tea on all days of workshops.

Payment of the fee can be made through a demand draft in favour of Vice Chancellor, Christ University, payable at Bangalore.
Participants will receive Duty certificates and participation certificates as per the norms of UGC. The last date for registration is June 25, 2012. The venue for the workshop is Christ University, Nodal Office, Vazhuthacaud, Trivandrum.
