Blood Check-up Camp

Deen Bandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology organised blood check-up camp on April 25, 2012 by the NSS volunteers of university. Around 500 students participated to get their blood groups checked. The objective of the camp was to help students find out their blood group on the spot as well as to gather a database of various students along with their respective blood groups so that in urgent need of a particular blood group these students can be contacted.
The NSS volunteers also put posters with emergency help-lines written on them so that any one in need of any blood group can contact them. Certain posters also showed the acceptance capability of particular blood groups towards various other blood groups.

Electronics Fest

The Electronics and Communication department of Deen Bandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology organised ‘ECE Fest’ on April 27, 2012. During the morning hours all the final year's students displayed their projects, while it was mandatory for the 1st year ECE students to go and witness this exhibition. In the evening, a dance and music show was held wherein singing and dancing competitions were also held. The late evening witnessed a formal farewell from the ECE proffessors to the final year ECE students.
