About the Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India
The Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of India, administers the Indian Government’s (Transaction of Business) Rules, 1961 and Indian Government’s (Allocation of Business) Rules 1961, ensuring that transactions take place smoothly in the business of Ministries and departments of the government, by making sure that all the rules are followed. Application Process for Central Secretariat recruitment through GATE 2022
- Applications for Central Secretariat recruitment through GATE 2022 will become available once the GATE 2022 results are out.
- Interested applicants will need to download the application from the official website and fill all the details.
- The code of the post must be filled.
- If candidates are applying for more than one post for the Central Secretariat recruitment through GATE 2022, then they need to send their application forms in two separate envelopes.

- The following documents need to be sent along with the application form
- A self attested copy of the GATE 2022 score card
- Passport sized photographs attached in the application form
- Caste certificate or ex- servicemen discharge certificate (if applicable)
- After the applications are received, on the basis of the GATE 2022 results, a merit list will be prepared.
- Out of the merit list prepared, five times the total number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the personal interview.

- Selection will depend on valid GATE 2022 score.
- The personal interview will carry a weightage of 25 marks and candidates need to score 40% marks in the interview to qualify.
