Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Centre for Biomedical Research, Delhi University is inviting applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow in a purely time-bound research project. Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the interview to be conducted on July 17, 2014.
 
Entitled as Mechanism of allosteric regulation of a unique bifunctional antioxidant enzyme Peroxiredoxin 6 on Post translational modification, the project is for three years of duration during which candidate will be given RF Rs.16,000/- + HRA for the 1st two years and Rs 18,000/- + HRA for the 3rd year for SRF and applicable only if JRF/SRF is NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified, otherwise it shall Rs 12,000/- +HRA only for the 1st two years for JRF and Rs 14,000/- + HRA for the 3rd year for SRF.
 
 
Qualification required:
  • Candidate should have M.Sc. in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biomedical Sciences/ Medical Biotechnology with 55% of minimum marks or equivalent to CGPA grade. Candidates having CSIR/UGC/NET or valid GATE score will be proffered
  • Experience in Biophysical and Biochemical techniques (such as Absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy, etc.) 
  • Working knowledge of computers (MS Office, Internet etc.) is essential
  • Candidates should not be more than 28 yrs
