Annual Technical & Management Festival in Dibrugarh University

Dibrugarh University celebrated its maiden annual Technical cum Management Cultural festival (AUXESIS 2011) from 15 to 18 September, 2011.

AUXESIS 2011 provided the students, the budding innovators and technocrats, a huge platform to showcase their talents creativity in a world of fun. Workshops on Robotics, Ethical Hacking, Hydrogen fuel cell technology and Hybrid cars and Advanced photography was also organized. Many other Universities like Tezpur Assam University, NEHU (North East Hills University), Guwahati University, Annamalai University were invited for the programme. Special Lecture Series by eminent dignitaries from across the country was also part of this gala event.

The trademark events of this festival included:

• Lecture on "Entrepreneurship and Creative Team Building Method " by Mr. Rathish Babu, CEO, AAT(I)
• Lecture on "Indian documentaries and worldwide attention" by renowned Indian academic- filmmaker, columnist, poet and actor, Miss Leena Manimekalal.
• Lecture by Dr. T.G.K Murthy, a Gold Medalist both at graduate and post graduate level from Andhra University and a Ph D holder from Australian University!
• Quiz competition by a Delhi based journalist Mr. Manimugdha Sharma
• Others - rock band competition and cultural exchange programme

 The basic purpose of organizing this programme in such a mega scale was to generate enthusiasm among students and to help them realise the importance of higher education.
