An initiative towards green society taken by A N College,Patna

In order to maintain the balance of eco system Green Saver and Welfare Group (a youth oriented organization in Bihar for environment protection and education) has organized a plantation programe at Anugrah Narayan College, Patna on April 11, 2013. It is believe to be very helpful to improve the eco system of college campus.

Anugrah Narayan College came to existence in 1956 to be run in the evening shift. Prime goal was to facilitate academic pursuits of employees working in various departments during day time. Till this date, the college has 22 UG departments and 21 PG departments. On initiative of U.G.C and Government of Bihar, many new courses like Electronics, Environmental Sciences were introduced during 1980s. In1996, the first vocational course E.W.M (Environment and Water Management) was introduced later on, many more job oriented courses like B.C.A, B.B.M, M.C.A, M.B.A and Biotechnology were added to the list.

College believes in delivering quality education through its excellent faculties. The college has well established Science and Arts faculties and numerous vocational courses leading to graduate and post graduate degrees. In addition to these courses, departments also offer job-oriented certificate and advanced diploma courses viz. Electrical equipment maintenance, tissue culture, environmental audit, functional English, Korean language. Number of teachers working at present is 106 and number of students intake per year is around 5000 for various courses. Many major and minor projects of UGC , DST , DBT, UNICEF etc. have also been undertaken. The college has tie-ups with international universities such as Griffith University Australia and Kangwan National University South Korea. College offers courses like
