AICTE Join Hands with Wheebox to Improve Student’s Job Skills

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has collaborated with Wheebox that will largely help AICTE affiliated technical and business school students to develop outstanding job skills. This is an initiative taken in consideration with improving the chances of the students to seek good jobs post qualifications.

Under this training process, Wheebox will ask students to undergo employability skill test to determine candidates’ abilities. Notably, Wheebox is a global online skill assessment firm that has been serving to improve job skills of students for years. All the technical and business school students will be able to take pre-emptive measures to improve various employability skills via this training.

Wheebox Founder and CEO Nirmal Singh said, "There is a significant skill gap in the country with above 60 per cent of students remaining unemployable, highlighting the urgent need of revamping education." Singh further said that their recent collaboration with AICTE will prepare students to identify their job readiness which would help the industry in talent matchmaking.
