Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is the authority for issuing the admit card for both the Civil Services Preliminary as well as the Main examinations. The admit card will mostly be issued three weeks prior to the date of the examination. First, the IAS Admit Card will be released for the preliminary examination scheduled to take place on 7th August 2022.
The hall ticket will be released via online mode only and no candidate shall be sent the same personally. IAS Admit Card for the prelims is likely to be released in the month of July 2022.The admit card will be issued to all the registered candidates.
The admission card will be available to only those students who have successfully submitted the application form. The admit card will be available on the official website of UPSC. It will contain important information like name of the candidate, name and address of the test venue, roll number and photograph of the candidate with some important instructions. Candidates must check the admit card thoroughly for discrepancies and report the same, if any.
Candidates should note that the UPSC will not send the admit cards to any of the candidates personally and they have to download the same from the official website. For downloading the admit card, the candidate must log on to the website and click on the ‘Civil Service Preliminary Admit Card 2022’ link on the homepage.
A new page will open where the candidate has to fill in the information like application number, date of birth etc. Once the information is entered, press the submit button. The admit card will be downloaded and the candidate can take a print out of the same.
