50th Annual Convention of Chemists at Punjab University

Punjab University is happy to announce that the Annual Convention of Chemists is being organised this year also.

The Department of Chemistry, Punjab University, Chandigarh has kindly agreed to host the Convention (50th Annual Convention of Chemists 2013) during the period December 4-7, 2013

The Convention would consist of scientific sessions that will include several Endowment and Invited Lectures, besides presentation of contributory papers. The Society intends particularly to encourage the budding young chemists of our country by organising special award sessions to accommodate the contributions by the young scientists.

The convention is believed to provide an effective platform for exchange of thoughts among the participating chemists which would generate newer ideas and open up new fields of research.

PU has requested and hope that chemist from all parts of the country will participate in this convention to make it a grand success.

Moreover, in view of the reduction of the period of convention by one day, University has decided that only Invited and Award Papers will be considered for Oral Presentation and other Contributory Pages will be presented by posters.
