What is Civil Engineering?
At Undergraduate Level
After 10+2, civil engineering aspirants have several avenues to explore, such as B. Tech in Civil Engineering, BE (Civil Engineering) and Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Civil Engineering Eligibility Criteria
Those aspiring to pursue a diploma course need to complete matriculate with 45 percent marks in Science, Mathematics and English. Aspirants who have cleared their 10+2 (Vocational) or ITI exam can seek admission in the second year of the diploma course.
The aspirants of BE and B Tech (Civil Engineering) courses should have a minimum of 45 percent marks in their higher secondary or 10+2 exam with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as their core subjects. The minimum pass percentage goes down to 40 percent for SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates.
